Problem Statement

The existing system had challenges like manual KYC vetting without proper record-keeping, manual account setup done directly from the database, lacking audit controls for tracking user changes, and missing downloadable reports for new regulatory requirements.

Challenges

Lack of system documentation, and collecting requirements from all the different departments posed difficulties.

What The Design Solved

The redesigned dashboard automates merchant KYC vetting, sends automated emails for account status changes, offers an interface for editing account configurations, facilitates report downloads for regulatory compliance, and introduces maker-checker controls for user changes.

How I Overcame Challenges

Leveraged my Applications Support experience to understand the system, conducted face-to-face interviews, and utilized structured questionnaires for User Research.
